Dr. Daniel D. Peck

It never felt like work.

‘Animals and medicine have always fascinated me, and that is why I pursued degrees in Animal Science, Animal Physiology/Endocrinology, and Veterinary Medicine so that I could combine my interests in an enjoyable and challenging career. For me, it is the best of two worlds.’

Teaching is medicine, too.

‘I spend a significant amount of time educating people about the many ways they can help their pets live their full span of years, all the while maintaining a high quality of life. It is so rewarding to be stopped around town and be told how much happier and healthier their pet is since being seen at Eastern Shore Animal Hospital.

A healthy dose of reassurance.

‘I have observed that one of people’s biggest fears when they arrive for the first time is that their beloved pet will have a bad experience. I assure them that one of the worst experiences of all is for their pet to never see the inside of a veterinary hospital; then I make pet and owner feel right at home.’
